Job summary

Noesis in Porto, Portugal is seeking an experienced Front-end Engineer to join our team driving production-grade web frontends with SSR and CSR. You will optimize performance, accessibility and track Core Web Vitals while shaping headless storefronts for high-volume e-commerce.

Responsibilities include writing automated tests, code reviews, and leveraging AI development tools carefully to validate generated code. Strong collaboration and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or similar.
• Minimum 5 years of production web frontend experience.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser behavior.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, and e-commerce storefronts.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-traffic web frontends in production, with both server-side and client-side rendering.
• Optimize performance and accessibility, tracking Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse scores and WCAG compliance.
• Build and evolve headless e-commerce storefronts.
• Write automated tests, take part in code review and use AI development tools critically, validating the code they generate.
