Capgemini Portugal is seeking a Quality Engineer to define test strategies, develop functional test scenarios, and drive defect resolution within Agile teams. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure traceability from requirements to test cases and defects.

In this role, you will work with Jira and Confluence, participate in Scrum ceremonies, and contribute to improving QA processes and metrics while testing complex systems. A hybrid work setup in Portugal is supported.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in Functional Testing and Quality Assurance.
• Proven experience in defining and executing test strategies and test plans.
• Experience with Jira for defect management, activity tracking, and reporting; and Confluence for documentation, knowledge management, and team collaboration.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience in defect lifecycle management.
• Experience in integration testing and the validation of complex systems.

Responsabilidades

• Define test strategies, approaches, and plans in line with project objectives.
• Create and maintain functional test scenarios and test cases.
• Identify, document, track, and validate the resolution of defects, and ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Meetings, Refinements, Retrospectives, etc.).
• Support the definition and continuous improvement of Quality Assurance processes and monitor quality metrics and test progress.
• Participate in effort estimation and test activity planning.
