Job summary

Closer Consulting in Lisbon is seeking a QA Test Lead / Senior Test Specialist to drive testing for complex banking and insurance projects. You will lead, mentor, and coordinate testers, define test plans, and ensure timely delivery within Agile frameworks.

Required are 5+ years leading software testing, ISTQB-aligned knowledge, SQL and API testing, and experience with ALM Octane, JIRA, Confluence. Proficiency in French is also expected.

Qualifications

• Academic background with a degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or equivalent.
• 5+ years leading and executing software testing activities.
• ISTQB-aligned testing knowledge and project delivery understanding.
• Strong test strategy definition and timeline management abilities.
• Experience coordinating and mentoring software testers.
• Agile methodology experience and testing in Agile environments.
• Familiarity with ALM Octane, JIRA, Confluence.
• SQL and API testing experience.
• Banking or life insurance sector validation is highly valued.
• Excellent leadership, risk assessment, and analytical skills.
