Position

Senior QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development and maintenance of automated tests for web applications, APIs and related systems.
• Create and execute both functional and automated test cases.
• Collaborate within an Agile Scrum environment and with cross-functional teams.
• Proactively identify, report and help resolve quality issues and risks.
• Mentor and share knowledge with junior QA team members.
• Utilize automation tools (e.g., Selenium) and contribute to test automation strategy.

Requirements

• Proficiency in programming languages, specifically Java 17+ or equivalent development experience in C# or Python
• Strong knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles and frameworks
• Experience working within Agile Scrum methodologies
• Expertise in API testing, including using frameworks like Rest Assured
• Demonstrated proactivity and self-motivation
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
• Mentoring and knowledge sharing with junior QA team members
• Ability to create and execute both functional and automated test cases
• Strong experience with automation tools, particularly Selenium
• Familiarity with test case management tools like TestRail
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git (GitHub/GitLab)
• Deep understanding of the Test Case Life Cycle
• Deep understanding of the Bug Life Cycle

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of testing within AWS architecture
• Experience with CI/CD processes
• Familiarity with Jira
• Knowledge of Jenkins pipelines
