AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Python Developer to design and build scalable microservices and REST APIs, collaborating with Product, DevOps, and Frontend teams.

You will architect, implement, and maintain high-performance Python services, champion clean code and tests, containerize with Docker, and drive CI/CD with GitHub Actions. Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and ORMs (SQLAlchemy) is essential, as is mentoring peers.

Qualifications

4+ years of backend Python development.
Strong Python core understanding (OOP, async, memory management).
Production-grade REST APIs and distributed microservices.
Relational databases and ORM proficiency (PostgreSQL).
Testing with Pytest and code reviews with Git.

Responsibilities

Architect, build, and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Python.
Write clean, tested code and promote modern Python practices.
Containerize apps and automate CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
Design schemas and queries with ORMs like SQLAlchemy for relational DBs.
Integrate third-party APIs, ensuring low latency and high availability.
Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams.
