Extia seeks a Senior Python & Django Developer to join its Porto team. You will design, develop, and maintain Python/Django applications, building scalable backend services and RESTful APIs while ensuring code quality and performance.

With 6+ years of professional experience, you will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, drive architectural decisions, and contribute to the evolution of our software stack in a dynamic engineering consultancy environment in Portugal.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and Django.
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs and web services.
• Good understanding of software architecture, design principles, and backend development best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and continuously improve Python and Django applications.
• Develop and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Ensure application maintenance, bug fixing, change requests, and continuous evolution.
• Contribute to the technical design and architecture of new and existing applications.
• Work with databases, data models, and application integrations.
• Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, application performance, scalability, and software quality.
