JobCubby, acting on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Middle to Senior Python Developer based in Portugal to build and evolve high-performance backend systems in an iGaming tech environment.

You will work with Python 3.x and Django across a modern stack, taking ownership from design to production, integrating payments and data providers, and ensuring reliability while collaborating with an international team.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Python 3.x and Django.
• Experience building scalable, highly loaded systems.
• Knowledge of design patterns, data structures, algorithms.
• English proficiency for international collaboration.
• Experience in the iGaming or sports betting industry.
• Ability to break down complex tasks.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Redis.

Responsabilidades

• Make architectural and technical decisions for backend products and services.
• Design, develop, test reliable backend solutions using Python and Django.
• Build features and integrate with payment methods and external data providers.
• Develop automated communications, risk management capabilities, and other backend solutions.
• Monitor production systems for stability and reliability.
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize performance.
• Own tasks from development through delivery.
• Decompose complex requirements into actionable tasks.
• Apply flexible yet systematic approaches to solve engineering problems.
