Körber, a global technology company for intelligent manufacturing and supply chains, seeks a Digital Twin Project Manager for its Porto/Maia R&D team. You will lead the end-to-end coordination of digital twin development, aligning software, digital and logistics interfaces across multiple teams and external partners.

You will manage timelines, risks and dependencies, translate complex requirements into actionable plans, and drive delivery in a fast-paced, matrix organization while communicating

• Drive and coordinate the overall project management for the development of digital twins.
• Translate defined product and digital requirements into structured implementation plans, milestones and deliverables.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary stakeholders across relevant R&D functions and interfaces.
• Ensure transparency regarding project status, dependencies, risks, bottlenecks and decision-making requirements.
• Monitor progress across all disciplines and drive resolution of obstacles and conflicts.
• Prepare and facilitate coordination, reporting and escalation processes with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure development activities are synchronized with scope, schedule and quality expectations and support resource planning.

As a ‘Digital Twin’ Project Manager in our Research and Development department, you will play a key role in the further development of one of our most strategically important areas of development and will have the opportunity to help shape the future of our warehouse automation and digital solutions.

This role is a high-profile coordination and management position within a complex, interdisciplinary development environment with an international reach.

Your role in our team

• You will drive and coordinate the overall project management for the development of digital twins.
• You will translate defined product and digital requirements into structured implementation plans, milestones and deliverables.
• You will coordinate interdisciplinary stakeholders across relevant R&D functions and interfaces.
• You ensure transparency regarding project status, dependencies, risks, bottlenecks and decision-making requirements.
• You monitor progress across all disciplines and actively drive the resolution of obstacles and conflicts.
• You prepare and facilitate coordination, reporting and escalation processes with the relevant stakeholders.
• You ensure that development activities are synchronized and aligned with scope, schedule and quality expectations; you support resource planning and increase transparency regarding workload in close collaboration with the relevant R&D functions and the matrix organization.

Your profile

• You have several years’ experience in project management within complex development environments (software, technology, automation or logistics).
• You live in the Porto/Maia area or are willing to move there.
• You have the ability to lead interdisciplinary projects across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• You have a sound understanding of development processes in technical and innovation-oriented organizations.
• You identify dependencies and interfaces between software, digital and logistics systems.
• You manage processes in matrix organizations without formal authority to issue instructions and possess strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• You work in a structured, solution-oriented and proactive manner, take personal responsibility, are able to work under pressure and communicate fluently in English (German would be an advantage).
