BBDM Consulting Services in Lisbon seeks a Senior Project Planner / Project Manager to lead planning and control of large-scale, multidisciplinary projects in an international environment. You will develop schedules, manage WBS and baselines, and coordinate across engineering, procurement, and site teams to deliver on time.

You will produce KPI dashboards, monitor progress, and perform risk analyses to support informed decisions. Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.

Qualificações

• Several years of experience as a Project Planner, Project Controller, or Project Manager.
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, including baseline creation and critical path analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project.
• Experience in industrial, construction, infrastructure or energy projects.
• Understanding of EPC project lifecycles.
• Able to translate engineering documentation into planning actions.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to perform scenario analyses for decision making.
• Knowledge of PMI or IPMA is an advantage.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and control integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Define and manage WBS, activity sequencing, baselines, and critical path.
• Coordinate planning across Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, and Site Execution.
• Monitor progress, identify deviations, perform impact assessments, and recommend actions.
• Prepare planning reports, dashboards, KPIs, and S-curves.
• Support schedule risk analysis with float, exposure, and mitigation strategies.
• Collect and consolidate progress information from multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist Project Manager with resources, milestones, and contractual reporting.
• Ensure planning complies with standards and contracts.

Your Challenge

As a Senior Project Planner / Project Manager, you will play a key role in the planning, monitoring, and control of large-scale projects, ensuring alignment between project schedules, resources, and execution activities.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Develop, maintain, and control integrated project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project;
• Define and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activity sequencing, schedule baselines, and critical path analysis;
• Coordinate planning activities across Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, and Site Execution teams;
• Monitor project progress, identify schedule deviations, perform impact assessments, and recommend corrective actions;
• Prepare planning reports, dashboards, S-curves, histograms, and key performance indicators (KPIs);
• Support schedule risk analysis by assessing float consumption, schedule exposure, and mitigation strategies;
• Collect and consolidate project progress information from multidisciplinary teams;
• Support the Project Manager with resource planning, milestone tracking, and contractual reporting;
• Ensure planning activities comply with internal standards and contractual requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience as a Project Planner, Project Controller, or Project Manager;
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6, including baseline creation, critical path analysis, resource leveling, earned value management, and claims analysis;
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project;
• Experience within industrial, construction, infrastructure, or energy projects is highly valued;
• Solid understanding of EPC project lifecycles;
• Ability to interpret engineering documentation and translate it into effective project planning;
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in multidisciplinary environments;
• Ability to perform scenario ("what-if") analyses to support project decision-making;
• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMI or IPMA is considered an advantage;
• Professional proficiency in both Portuguese and English.
