Job summary

CTR in Portugal is seeking a Senior Supervisor to manage the manufacturing operations of the formulation area, ensuring targets for volume, quality and cost are met. You will coordinate daily production activities, drive 7S and Lean initiatives, and lead a team of team leaders and operators in a multinational setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of manufacturing experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage priorities while delivering production targets in a fast-growing

Qualifications

• Degree or technical qualification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience leading or supervising production teams.
• Experience in formulation, mixing, blending or batch manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and ensure the achievement of production targets.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing/ERP systems.
• Experience in a chemical or multinational manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track core team metrics including safety, quality, delivery, efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate and supervise daily production activities.
• Investigate root causes of non-conformances in audit, identify and execute corrective actions by the expected completion date.
• Drive standardization of production operations following SOP and WI requirements.
• Drive 7S management and track results weekly.
• Participate in lean manufacturing projects.
• Lead and develop a team of team leaders and operators.
