Damia is seeking a Platform Engineer in Lisbon to join our Platform Infrastructure team. You will design, deploy, and operate highly available cloud-based systems, with a focus on security, reliability, and developer productivity across macOS and Linux environments.

You will own the Kubernetes-based platform, CI/CD tooling, and automation pipelines, collaborating across security and development teams to deliver scalable, robust infrastructure for a fast-growing client base.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of DevOps or SRE experience with at least 4 years of AWS experience.
• 8+ years of CI/CD pipeline development in GitLab, GitHub, or similar framework.
• 5+ years of experience with security best practices in AWS, including remediating SecurityHub findings.
• 5+ years of experience with DevSecOps tools, including SAST, DAST, and SCA tools.
• Microservices (Docker, Kubernetes) experience in a production environment.
• Strong Linux OS-level and scripting knowledge; configuration management fundamentals.
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Postgres, and DynamoDB.
• Coding beyond simple scripting with Python, Ruby, or Java.
• Experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation for compute provisioning.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to design scalable, automated infrastructure.
• Experience building a microservice-based architecture.
• Good written and spoken communication.

Responsabilidades

• Designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting distributed systems with strong hands-on debugging skills
• Managing the relationship between the Platform Infrastructure team and the Information Security Team to address and resolve security issues related to the platform, CI/CD pipelines, and development tools
• Contributing to security best practices by promoting a shift-left approach and fostering a strong security culture within the DevOps/Platform Infrastructure team
• Developing and maintaining tools to support the development environment on macOS and Linux, with a focus on enhancing developer productivity
• Maintaining site reliability with a focus on building highly scalable systems integrating resiliency and high availability at all levels
• Developing software and tooling to secure and automate cloud infrastructure, building software delivery capabilities with fully automatic workflows
• Designing and operating a Kubernetes environment for container management and orchestration
• Working with distributed systems design, maintenance, and hands-on troubleshooting/debugging
