Salsify is looking for a Platform Engineer to join our Global Infrastructure team in Portugal. In this role, you will develop infrastructure management solutions while collaborating with multiple engineering teams to enhance our platform's efficiency and scalability.

The ideal candidate has experience with orchestration platforms like Temporal.io and Cloud Hosting services such as AWS or Azure. You will also enjoy competitive pay and health benefits.

Qualificações

• Experience with orchestration platforms, such as Temporal.io.
• Experience with Configuration Management and Infrastructure Management systems such as Terraform.
• Deep experience with at least one Cloud Hosting platform (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with container‑based runtimes and orchestration such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working as part of a distributed team.

Responsabilidades

• Develop infrastructure automation and management solutions that focus on scalability, observability, automation, reliability, security.
• Design, implement, and maintain solutions that empower engineering.
• Deliver internal infrastructure services such as monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Expand and enhance our Kubernetes‑based application environment.

Conhecimentos

Experience with orchestration platforms like Temporal.io

Infrastructure Management systems like Terraform

Programming languages like Go, Ruby, or Python

Deep knowledge of Cloud Hosting concepts

Experience with AWS or Azure

Container-based runtimes and orchestration like Docker and Kubernetes

Networking and distributed computing concepts

GitOps and Infrastructure as Code

Excellent written communication skills

Formação académica

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
