Job summary

VASS, a global digital transformation company, is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to operate and evolve an end-to-end platform integrating UiPath automation, Azure services, databases, hybrid infrastructure and AI. You will turn loosely defined requirements into scalable, secure, production-validated solutions and resolve complex incidents across the full platform.

The role requires 5+ years in Platform Engineering or related fields, strong Azure architecture, production-level programming,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, DevOps or SRE with production responsibility.
• Strong Azure architecture experience: stateless services, containers, VMs, private networks, Key Vault, managed identities, Entra ID, Storage, and separation.
• Production-level Python or TypeScript including API development, automation and code reviews; PowerShell and Bash required.
• Networking expertise: DNS, SSL, firewalls, proxies, NSGs, hybrid connectivity.
• Windows Server and Active Directory: GPOs, service accounts, NTFS permissions, RDS.
• Advanced use of Claude Code, Cursor or Copilot with validation, tests and diffs.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Identify the real problem behind a vague request.
• Present alternatives with costs, timelines and risks.
• Anticipate volumes, bottlenecks and single points of failure.
• Design for security, resilience, observability and rollback.
• Take changes through to production and verify results.
• Clearly explain and document technical decisions.
