Volkswagen Financial Services Portugal in Porto seeks a seasoned Oracle database specialist to design, develop and maintain robust Oracle databases and applications. You will optimize PL/SQL, model data, and contribute to migrations and enhancements while supporting Oracle APEX developments.

German language is a plus, and willingness to travel for international projects is expected. This role offers a competitive package within a multinational, tech-driven environment.

Qualificações

• Complete university studies in computer science or an equivalent field.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience working in international teams and projects.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different audiences.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
• German is a plus.
• Availability to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and maintain Oracle databases and applications.
• Program and optimize solutions using PL/SQL.
• Perform logical and physical data modelling.
• Optimize database structures, performance and PL/SQL code.
• Participate in database migration, automation and enhancement projects.
• Develop and maintain Oracle APEX applications (nice to have).
• Create and maintain database tests and supporting testing activities across environments.
• Analysing, troubleshooting and resolving incidents and technical issues.
• Developing, testing and deploying solutions, including go-live support.
• Monitoring, tuning and continuously improving database systems.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation according to defined standards.
