Job Description

We are seeking an Oracle Database Administrator (local contract) with a DevOps mindset, obsessed with automation, scalability, performance, and infrastructure reliability, to join our Database team. You will be responsible for ensuring database stability, performance, and security.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Maintain databases in operational condition (production and non-production);
• Analyze activity (incidents, requests) and develop corrective actions;
• Handle change requests;
• Optimize SGDB engines and SQL code;
• Develop scripts and automated solutions to streamline activities;
• Perform preventive maintenance and monitor these activities;
• Respond to requests from developers, application administrators, and infrastructure teams;
• Participate in business projects related to database design and implementation (DBMS, volumetry, high availability);
• Maintain operational documentation (processes, workflows, tasks);
• Conduct business continuity and availability exercises.

Qualifications

Main Technical Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role;
• Experience with Oracle 11g, 12c, and/or 19c;
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills;
• Experience with Oracle RAC and Single Instance;
• Experience with Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN);
• Experience with Oracle Data Guard.

Other Requirements:

• Good command of English - minimum B2 (mandatory);
• Experience with ticketing systems;
• Experience with MS-SQL, MySQL, Sybase, or Hadoop is a plus;
• Good team player.
