Job summary

Cloudcomputing seeks a Senior Okta Engineer to join the Modern Identity team in Lisbon. You will own the design and delivery of Okta-based IAM solutions, collaborating with customers to address complex identity challenges.

The role requires deep Okta expertise, hands-on implementation, and strong communication to guide customers through technical decisions and deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IAM experience including 3+ years with Okta.
• Strong understanding of IAM principles, access control, authentication, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and SCIM.
• Hands-on Okta SSO, MFA, Universal Directory, API Access Management, and Lifecycle Management.
• Experience configuring Okta policies, workflows, and access rules.
• Proven experience integrating Okta with SaaS platforms, enterprise systems, APIs, and custom applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Automation using PowerShell, Python, and APIs.
• Ability to translate business requirements into IAM solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Okta solutions.
• Own complex IAM troubleshooting and technical issues.
• Design and support SSO, MFA, Universal Directory, LCM, and API integrations.
• Advise customers on IAM solutions aligned with business and security needs.
• Manage customer expectations and act as a key technical contact.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement of IAM processes.
• Create technical documentation and best-practice guidelines.
• Support and mentor junior consultants when required.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Okta Engineer to join our Modern Identity team. The ideal candidate will combine strong Okta expertise with consulting and customer-facing experience, taking ownership of technical solutions and helping customers address complex IAM challenges.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IAM, including 3+ years of focused Okta experience;


• Strong understanding ofIAM principles, access control, authentication, authorization, and lifecycle management;


• In-depth knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and SCIM;


• Strong hands-on experience with Okta SSO, MFA, Universal Directory, API Access Management, and Lifecycle Management;


• Experience configuring Okta policies, workflows, and access rules;


• Proven experience integrating Okta with Saa S platforms, enterprise systems, APIs, and custom applications;


• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;


• Experience with automation using Power Shell, Python, and/or APIs;
