Jobgether is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Node & React, Headless API) based in Portugal. This senior IC role offers ownership over a stable, developer-first SaaS platform with hands-on backend and frontend work across APIs, architecture, and integrations.

You will help expand a headless API platform used to connect social media capabilities, launch new integrations, and strengthen core systems in a remote-first team that values autonomy, speed, and reliability.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong design and architecture of cloud-based, distributed systems.
• Hands-on Node.js, React, Firebase, and API development.
• Experience with headless, API-driven architectures.
• Excellent communication in distributed teams.

Responsabilidades

• Write production-quality code daily, leading by example and maintaining high standards across development practices.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant systems and APIs.
• Own critical areas of the technical landscape and contribute to platform evolution.
• Lead the development and launch of new product capabilities, including major third-party integrations.
• Drive the implementation of new integrations as part of core product.
• Explore and integrate emerging AI development tools to expand capabilities.
• Improve core platform while ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with leadership to translate product strategy into technical execution.
• Make pragmatic engineering decisions balancing speed, quality, and debt.
• Investigate and resolve customer issues with the engineering team.
• Contribute to testing, CI/CD, documentation, and reliable release processes.
