Jobgether is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Node & React, Headless API) based in Portugal. You will own backend and frontend API design, drive architecture decisions, and implement scalable, fault-tolerant systems in a remote-first team.

Join a small, experienced engineering group where you will influence product direction, lead critical integrations, and ship production-ready features with a strong emphasis on reliability and performance.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in senior roles.
• Strong understanding of software design, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and scalable development.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, React, Firebase, and API development.
• Experience with headless, API-driven architectures and production-grade systems.
• Focus on reliability, performance, testing, CI/CD, and maintainable processes.

Responsabilidades

• Write production-quality code daily and lead by example.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant APIs and systems.
• Own critical areas of the technical landscape and evolve platform architecture.
• Lead development and launch of new product capabilities and major integrations.
• Drive Instagram Ads integration and exploration of AI tooling.
• Collaborate with leadership to translate product strategy into technical execution.
• Make pragmatic engineering decisions balancing speed, quality, and uptime.
• Resolve customer issues with the wider engineering team.
