Cloudflare is hiring engineers of all experience levels to work on our Network Services team. You will build, deploy, and operate systems on top of one of the world’s largest edge networks, delivering features and improving performance and scalability for customers and users.

Qualifications

• Experience building large-scale, distributed systems.
• Go and Rust systems programming experience.
• Expertise in L3 and L4 networking protocols.
• Experience with Linux kernel networking primitives – netfilter, nftables, eBPF, tc, namespaces, etc.
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and backend systems.
• Experience with large-scale distributed data pipelines, from data structuring to efficient querying to data analysis.
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to solve complex customer problems.
• Own solutions end-to-end and driving the design, development, and deployment process.
• Able to work across teams and level common, sustainable solutions.
• Creative, open-minded, collaborative problem solver.
• Focus on clarity in written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and operate our team’s systems on top of Cloudflare’s edge network.
• Deliver new features and improve performance and scalability of Network Services products.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to solve big problems that impact customers and users.
• Work across a wide range of technologies and systems to enable rapid iteration.
