Adentis Portugal is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to join our People First team. You will guide a dedicated security team, shape incident response, and oversee technical operations in multi-vendor environments.

You will work on governance, security policies, risk assessments, and hands-on management of Cisco, Check Point, Fortinet, and cloud security platforms, with emphasis on leading complex troubleshooting and collaboration with 24x7 hubs.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of professional experience in network security.
• Previous background as a Technical Lead, Senior Security Engineer, or equivalent.
• Experience in managed services and multi-vendor enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Cisco, Check Point, Fortinet security appliances.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical guidance to the dedicated team, organizing priorities and directing daily operational workflows.
• Function as the primary technical point of contact.
• Participate in the operation and administration of security environments.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and coordinate critical incident resolution.
• Validate configuration changes, rulesets, security policies, and planned maintenance windows.
• Oversee escalation paths to L3 support teams, vendors, and external partners.
• Track security vulnerabilities, patching schedules, capacity, system performance, and lifecycle management.
• Ensure high standards for operational documentation, runbooks, baseline guidelines, and audit evidence.
• Engage in governance meetings and reporting routines, fostering continuous service improvement.
