Randstad Portugal is seeking a Technical Lead - Network Security to guide a dedicated team and act as the main technical contact for a key client. The role involves overseeing security platforms, incident coordination, and ensuring policy and runbook quality.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in network security, hands-on firewall administration (Cisco/Check Point/Fortinet), and strong multi-vendor coordination skills. This is a senior position within a global HR solutions leader.

Qualificações

• 8+ years in Network Security or similar leadership role.
• Experience in managed services and multi-vendor environments.
• Advanced expertise in complex network security architectures.
• Administration and troubleshooting of Cisco/Check Point/Fortinet firewalls.
• Knowledge of Cisco Firepower/FMC, Check Point Quantum/CloudGuard, FortiGate tools.
• Experience with VPN, IPS/IDS, segmentation, and policy hardening.
• Familiarity with F5 BIG-IP/LTM and cloud security (Azure/AWS).
• Technical incident management across multi-vendor ecosystems.
• Understanding of ITIL/change management and ITSM tools.
• Ability to coordinate SOC, vendors, and infrastructure teams.
• Relevant certifications (CCNP Security, CCSE, FCP, AWS/Azure Security) are valued.

Responsibilities

• Technically lead the dedicated team and distribute/prioritize operational work.
• Act as the main technical point of contact.
• Participate in the operation and administration of security platforms.
• Coordinate critical incidents and highly complex troubleshooting.
• Validate changes, configurations, rules, policies, and maintenance windows.
• Coordinate escalations to L3, vendors, and third parties.
• Monitor vulnerabilities, patches, firmware, capacity, performance, and obsolescence.
• Ensure the quality of documentation, runbooks, baselines, and operational evidence.
• Participate in governance forums, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure knowledge transfer between the Portuguese team and the 24x7 team in Spain.
• Support Transition, Shadow, Reverse Shadow, and Go-Live phases.

Skills/Requirements

• Previous experience as a Technical Lead, Senior Engineer, or equivalent role, preferably with 8 or more years in Network Security.
• Proven experience in managed services and multi-vendor enterprise environments.
• Advanced experience in complex and critical network security environments.
• Administration and troubleshooting of Cisco, Check Point, and Fortinet firewalls.
• Solid knowledge of Cisco Firepower/FMC, Check Point Quantum/CloudGuard, and FortiGate/FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer.
• Experience with VPN, IPS/IDS, segmentation, security policies, hardening, and rule management.
• Knowledge of F5 BIG-IP/LTM and Azure/AWS security.
• Technical management of critical incidents and multi-vendor problems.
• Experience with ITIL, change management processes, and ITSM tools.
• Ability to coordinate with SOC, vendors, partners, and infrastructure teams.
• Valued certifications: Cisco CCNP Security, Cisco Certified Specialist — Security, Check Point CCSE, Fortinet FCP (or equivalent), F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator or F5 LTM Specialist, ITIL Foundation, as well as Azure/AWS Security certifications.
