BE Consultancy Group in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead day-to-day network operations and drive a major infrastructure transformation, acting as the senior technical lead to ensure safe changes and operational stability. This hybrid role requires three days onsite in Lisbon.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree and 8+ years IT experience, with hands-on Cisco Nexus/NX-OS, IOS/IOS-XE, Cisco Wireless, NAC (802.1X/ISE), and Catalyst Center expertise, plus strong

Qualificações

• Master's degree and 8+ years of IT experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus/NX-OS and IOS/IOS-XE.
• Experience with network switch upgrades and replacements.
• Knowledge of Cisco Catalyst Center.
• Experience implementing Cisco wireless networks.
• Experience with NAC, 802.1X, RADIUS and ISE.
• Strong experience with network operations and change management.
• Comfortable working with network monitoring and observability.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and maintain the network environment and troubleshoot issues across wired, wireless, access and core networks.
• Investigate and resolve network incidents, including NAC and authentication-related issues.
• Lead the replacement of legacy Cisco switches with Cisco Nexus/NX-OS.
• Support the implementation of a new Cisco wireless environment, NAC and Catalyst Center.
• Plan and execute network changes, upgrades and ad hoc fixes while maintaining operational stability.
• Improve network monitoring, observability, configuration management and automation.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.
