Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced network benchmarking professional to lead end-to-end campaigns and competitive performance assessments. You will analyze drive tests, crowdsourcing and KPI data to identify gaps and drive optimization across 2G, 3G, 4G/LTE, VoLTE and 5G networks.

You will prepare reports, engage with customers, and mentor junior engineers, with a focus on delivering actionable recommendations and maintaining high-quality technical deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of mobile network optimization and benchmarking experience.
• Experience in benchmarking projects and customer experience assessments.
• Multi-vendor background: Huawei, Nokia, Ericsson, Samsung preferred.
• Knowledge of GSM/UMTS/LTE/VoLTE/5G NR and associated KPIs.
• Experience with OSS tools and performance platforms.
• Hands-on with benchmarking/crowdsourcing analytics like UMLAUT/Ookla/Tutela/Opensignal.
• Proficient data analysis and reporting via Excel/Power BI/Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end network benchmarking campaigns and competitive performance assessments.
• Analyze drive test, crowdsourcing, customer experience, and KPI data to find gaps.
• Develop optimization strategies to enhance customer experience across 2G/3G/4G/5G.
• Perform optimization activities across GSM, UMTS, LTE, VoLTE, and 5G NR.
• Prepare benchmarking reports, executive summaries, and technical recommendations.
• Mentor junior engineers; act as SME for senior leadership when needed.
• Collaborate with Planning, Performance, Operations, and Optimization teams.
