Emotion Mobility is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain its web application and APIs. You will review code for quality and security, and report to the Engineering Director.

You will work on .NET Core (C#), REST APIs, SQL databases, and modern engineering practices in an Agile/SCRUM setup, collaborating with a global team to deliver scalable backend services.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with .NET Core Framework 10+ (C#).
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Dependency Injection.
• Experience working with relational databases (SQL).
• Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

Your Mission

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our web application and APIs. Your primary duties will include conducting thorough code reviews to ensure the highest standards of code quality and functionality. Additionally, you will adhere to company guidelines on security and coding best practices for all development tasks. You will report to the Engineering Director.

What You'll Do

• Design and work with relational databases (SQL) to ensure data integrity and performance;

• Manage source code and development workflows using Git;
• Work within an Agile/SCRUM environment, actively participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives;
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while providing ongoing application and user support.

What We're Looking For

Mandatory:

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience;
• Strong experience with .NET Core Framework 10+ (C#);
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs;
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Dependency Injection;
• Experience working with relational databases (SQL);
• Proficiency with Git and version control best practices;
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments;
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Playwright, including the ability to review and validate automated tests is a plus;
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and modern development practices;
• Knowledge of DDD, SOLID principles, and ORM frameworks (Dapper/Entity Framework);
• Familiarity with AI technologies and solutions.
