Imaginary Cloud is seeking a skilled Back-end Developer with 5+ years of experience in C#/.Net to join our remote-first team in Portugal. You will tackle challenging problems, build robust APIs, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver elegant software solutions.

We value clean code, strong OOP, and proficiency with MS SQL Server and CMS-based web apps. You’ll work with Cursor IDE and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development while maintaining quality in a human-centered

Qualificações

• 5+ years of working experience in Back-end Development with C# or .Net.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Ability to write well-structured, testable, and efficient code following best practices in .NET.
• Experience using Agentic AI tools Cursor IDE and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development.
• Solid experience with relational databases (MS SQL Server) and APIs integration.
• Experience with CMS-based web apps (Sitecore/Umbraco/DNN or similar).
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) and eligible to work in Portugal.

Here’s an overview of the technical skills you'll likely have to embark on our team:

5+ years of working experience in Back-end Development with C# or .Net

• Background in Software Development
• A clear understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Outstanding proficiency in writing well-structured, testable, and efficient code, following best practices in .NET development
• Outstanding proficiency in using Agentic AI tools like Cursor IDE and GitHub Copilot to accelerate code development, refactoring, and complex debugging.
• Solid experience working with relational databases (preferably MS SQL Server) and integrating with APIs or other systems.
• Experience working in or around CMS-based web applications (e.g. Sitecore, Umbraco, DNN, or comparable)
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
• We seek team members who live in Portugal or are willing and legally qualified to live and work there

The salary range for this position is 35 310,00€ - 54 400,00€ gross per year.
