ITDS Portugal is seeking a Senior .NET Developer in Porto for a hybrid work model. You will design, upgrade, and optimize enterprise-grade .NET applications and APIs to drive digital transformation for our clients.

The role requires 6+ years of C#/.NET experience, strong SQL skills, experience with RESTful APIs, and a solid grasp of SOLID principles. English fluency is essential; Portuguese is a plus. This is a Porto-based opportunity with hybrid work alignment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience focusing on C# and .NET technologies.
• Strong SQL skills including database design and complex query optimization.
• Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs and integrating services.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles and common design patterns.
• Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Portuguese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable .NET applications following best practices and architectural standards.
• Enhance and upgrade existing applications for performance, security, and maintainability.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.
• Establish and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using agile methodologies to deliver solutions.
• Integrate RESTful APIs for data and service communication; participate in code reviews.
