Pertemps ERP (part of Network EMEA) in Lisbon is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join during a major engineering transformation. You will own backend services, design scalable microservices and help move a large legacy monolith to a cloud-native architecture.

You will work with REST APIs, event-driven patterns using Kafka, and collaborate with Product Owners and Architects. The role requires 5+ years of backend experience, Docker/Kubernetes, and strong OO design; a hybrid work model applies

Qualificações

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong background in microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and Kafka.
• REST API design and complex system integrations.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• SQL and database design (PostgreSQL/SQL Server).
• Object-oriented programming, design patterns and SOLID.
• Technical leadership or ownership of initiatives.

I’m looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join a team in the middle of a major engineering transformation.

The technology landscape is evolving. While the team has a strong .NET background, they’re deliberately keeping an open mind about the future, with Java, Go and Rust all being considered.

What you’ll be doing

• Take ownership of backend services and drive their development from concept through to delivery.
• Design and build scalable, resilient microservices and distributed systems.
• Help transform a large legacy monolith into a modern, cloud-native architecture.
• Design and implement event-driven architectures, working with Kafka and asynchronous processing.
• Work across synchronous and asynchronous integrations.
• Partner closely with Product Owners and Architects to shape technical direction.
• Lead an Agile team through planning, development, delivery and continuous improvement.
• Make pragmatic technology and architecture decisions based on business needs.
• Set engineering standards and contribute to good architectural practices.
• Mentor other developers and help raise the technical capability of the wider team.
• Produce clear technical documentation and communicate complex technical decisions effectively.

You’ll ideally bring 5+ years of backend development experience and a strong background in one or more of:
