Job summary

ALDEBARAN Group is seeking a Mechanical & Piping Superintendent for a large-scale energy project based in Lisbon. You will supervise on-site mechanical and piping installation activities, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule alignment.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage interfaces with other disciplines, and drive progress through construction meetings while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in mechanical and piping supervision on large industrial projects.
• Strong background in piping for sensitive services (oxygen and hydrogen).
• Demonstrated success in subcontractor management and multidisciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation of mechanical equipment and piping systems on site.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors and supervision involved in your discipline.
• Manage interfaces with other site disciplines and participate in progress meetings.
• Ensure compliance with technical documentation, standards, and contractual requirements.
• Contribute to quality plans and ITPs with QA/QC manager.
• Identify and resolve technical issues in mechanical and piping installation.
• Promote safety culture and ensure HSE rules compliance.
• Monitor progress, analyze deviations, report quantities, forecast costs.
• Review and validate final project documentation.
