Job summary

Bosch Aveiro is looking for a Software DevOps engineer to join the Electric Solutions group and support heat pump software development and building reliable workflows in a collaborative environment.

You will use MATLAB/SIMULINK, Bash, Git, Python, Go and C, with Jenkins, Artifactory, Bitbucket, Jira and GitHub to automate builds, tests and releases. English fluency required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Solid experience in software development in MATLAB and SIMULINK and agile practices at scale.
• Programming in Bash, Git, Python, Go, and C.
• DevOps tooling: Jenkins, Artifactory, Bitbucket, Jira, GitHub.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB) and Grafana.

• Enhance automation: Automate builds, tests, code analysis, packaging, and release activities, with useful feedback that helps engineers identify issues early.

Join the Electric Solutions group at Bosch Home Comfort, where software engineering and DevOps come together to support the development of heat pump applications. You will work closely with engineers using model-based development approaches, building a strong understanding of how their software is designed, implemented, tested, integrated, and maintained.

You will use that understanding to shape reliable, practical tools and workflows that make continuous software development easier. From fast feedback during development to reproducible builds and releases, your work will help teams deliver high-quality software with confidence.

Key responsibilities include:

Education:

Professional Experience:

• Methodologies: Solid experience in software development in MATLAB and SIMULINK and agile practices at scale.
• Programming: Besides Matlab some practical programming skills in Bash, Git, Python, Go, and C.
• DevOps Tooling: Practical knowledge of Jenkins, jFrog Artifactory, Bitbucket, Jira, and GitHub.
• Additional Tech Stack: Experience with NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB), Grafana.

Languages:

• Fluent in English

• Highly organized, collaborative, proactive, and structured with strong planning capabilities.

Personality:
