A Bosch Home Comfort Portugal, unidade de Aveiro, procura um Engenheiro de Software Senior para MATLAB/SIMULINK que integre o grupo Electric Solutions. O profissional irá colaborar com equipas de engenharia para apoiar o desenvolvimento de aplicações de aquecimento.

O candidato ideal terá experiência em MATLAB/SIMULINK e práticas ágeis, conhecimento de Bash, Git, Python, Go e C, bem como ferramentas DevOps (Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira) e bases de dados NoSQL como MongoDB, com Grafana para

Qualifications

• Formação em Ciência da Computação, Engenharia de Software, Engenharia Elétrica ou áreas relacionadas.
• Experiência sólida em desenvolvimento de software com MATLAB e SIMULINK, e práticas ágeis em escala.
• Programação: Bash, Git, Python, Go e C.
• DevOps: Jenkins, Artifactory, Bitbucket, Jira e GitHub.
• Tecnologias adicionais: NoSQL (MongoDB), Grafana.
• Idioma: Inglês fluente.

Responsibilities

• Design e melhoria de fluxos de trabalho que suportem o modo como as equipas de software trabalham, desde o desenvolvimento até à entrega.
• Automatizar builds, testes, análise de código, packaging e actividades de release com feedback útil.
• Colocar a qualidade do software em primeiro lugar ao longo do ciclo de vida do desenvolvimento.
• Colaborar com equipas de software e transformar necessidades reais em melhorias de plataforma.
• Reduzir trabalhos manuais repetitivos e ajudar as equipas a integrar e validar mudanças com regularidade.

Job Description

Join the Electric Solutions group at Bosch Home Comfort, where software engineering and DevOps come together to support the development of heat pump applications. You will work closely with engineers using model-based development approaches, building a strong understanding of how their software is designed, implemented, tested, integrated, and maintained.

You will use that understanding to shape reliable, practical tools and workflows that make continuous software development easier. From fast feedback during development to reproducible builds and releases, your work will help teams deliver high-quality software with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Enable continuous development: Design and improve workflows that support the way software teams work, from early development and integration through testing and delivery.
• Enhance automation: Automate builds, tests, code analysis, packaging, and release activities, with useful feedback that helps engineers identify issues early.
• Put software quality first: Consider what matters throughout the development lifecycle, including testability, reproducible builds, version control, traceability, and maintainability.
• Partner with engineers: Collaborate with software teams and turn real needs into effective platform improvements.
• Improve developer experience: Reduce repetitive manual work and help teams integrate and validate changes frequently and reliably.

Profile

Education

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

Professional Experience

• Methodologies: Solid experience in software development in MATLAB and SIMULINK and agile practices at scale.
• Programming: Besides Matlab some practical programming skills in Bash, Git, Python, Go, and C.
• DevOps Tooling: Practical knowledge of Jenkins, jFrog Artifactory, Bitbucket, Jira, and GitHub.
• Additional Tech Stack: Experience with NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB), Grafana.

• Fluent in English

• Highly organized, collaborative, proactive, and structured with strong planning capabilities.
