Aubay Portugal is seeking an experienced database administrator to design, implement and operate highly available MariaDB clusters for real-time systems. You will optimize SQL, implement backup/recovery, and support data architecture with development teams.

The role is hybrid and comes with training, comprehensive health coverage, dental care, language learning, and team events. You’ll join a close-knit environment that values integrity, collaboration and delivering real impact.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 5 years of MariaDB administration in production environments.
• Strong expertise in SQL, query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience with at least one additional relational database system, ideally PostgreSQL.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and operate highly available MariaDB clusters.
• Develop and maintain backup, recovery and high-availability strategies.
• Analyze and optimize SQL queries and system performance.
• Automate operations using Ansible or Terraform.
• Support development teams with data modeling and integration topics.
• Enforce database security, compliance and encryption standards.
