Job summary

act digital is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to drive AI-driven automation across business workflows. You will work at the intersection of software engineering and AI strategy, delivering scalable AI-powered solutions and shaping the AI² team.

In this role, you will partner with business users, design AI-driven applications, and lead adoption of LLMs, AI agents, and agentic workflows while building the foundation for a future AI engineering team.

This is a highly visible role sitting at the intersection of Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Process Automation, and Business Transformation. You will work directly with front-office users, identifying manual processes and turning them into scalable AI-powered solutions using LLMs, agentic workflows, and automation frameworks.

Beyond delivering solutions, you'll help define the AI strategy of the organization, establish engineering standards for the future AI² team, and progressively evolve into a leadership position responsible for growing and managing the function.

As an AI Automation Lead, you will:

• Mentor and support engineers working on AI and automation initiatives.
• Promote a culture of experimentation, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Help recruit, onboard, and scale the team as AI initiatives expand.
• Transition into a Team Lead position within approximately six months, taking ownership of AI delivery and capability growth.
