Fyld, a Portuguese IT consultancy, seeks a seasoned Linux Systems Administrator to maintain and optimize client Linux environments. You will work across distributions, configure web servers, manage databases, and implement security controls.

The role requires 4+ years of experience, scripting ability, cloud exposure, and proficiency in Portuguese and English. Based in Lisbon, the position offers diverse projects within a sports-inspired high-performance culture.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Engineering or similar.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator.
• Experience with major Linux distributions: CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, Red Hat, etc.
• Knowledge of the command line (bash, shell scripting).
• Experience in configuring and managing web servers (Apache, Nginx).
• Administration of database servers (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB).
• Configuration and maintenance of email servers (Postfix, Exim, Dovecot).
• Implementation of security measures (firewalls, iptables, SELinux, AppArmor).
• Knowledge of automation and configuration tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Strong knowledge of protocols such as SSH, DNS, LDAP, SMTP, SNMP, NFS, secure FTP (SFTP/FTPS).
• Administration of firewalls and routers.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) - valued.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
