Aubay Portugal is seeking a skilled Linux & Big Data Platform Administrator to strengthen our production environments across major sectors. You will manage Cloudera/Hadoop clusters, tune JVMs, automate tasks with Python and Ansible, and ensure security via Kerberos and TLS.

The role demands 5+ years in Linux/Big Data operations and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Join a multinational group and enjoy a hybrid work model (2-3 days on site) with a focus on continuous learning and career

Qualificações

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Linux System Engineering or Big Data Platform Administration.
• Strong expertise in Linux System Engineering & Operations, including JVM tuning and system-level debugging.
• Proven experience with automation tools like Python, Ansible, and Java scripting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Hadoop/Cloudera ecosystem, covering YARN, Kafka, HDFS, and distributed storage management.
• Experience managing security in distributed environments, specifically Kerberos, Ranger/Sentry, and TLS encryption.
