Aubay Portugal is seeking a senior Java developer to join our hybrid team. You will build and evolve high-performance Java applications using Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kafka, while shaping scalable data solutions and contributing to our Agile/DevOps practices.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of Java development experience with Spring Boot and Java EE.
• Experience in Microservices, Cloud, Containerization, and Kafka.
• Experience with Angular; high English proficiency (C1); customer-focused and collaborative.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and evolve Java applications using Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kafka.
• Design scalable SQL/NoSQL databases ensuring performance.
• Contribute to the SDLC with Agile (Scrum) and DevOps (CI/CD).
• Ensure application stability and participate in on-call rotations with additional compensation.

What will you do?

• Develop and evolve robust, high-performance Java applications, leveraging Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and Kafka;
• Design and implement scalable database solutions (SQL and NoSQL), ensuring optimal data management and performance;
• Contribute actively to the entire software development lifecycle, adopting Agile (Scrum) methodologies and DevOps practices including CI/CD;
• Ensure application stability and participate in 24/7 on‑call rotations when required, with additional compensation.
