Consort Group in Porto is seeking a Java Tech Lead to drive backend architecture and data quality for a financial statements referential data application. You will lead a team, ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions, and collaborate with developers, end users and stakeholders.

You will work with Java 21, Spring Framework, PostgreSQL, and APIs, focusing on CI/CD, microservices and robust testing.

Qualificações

• Solid experience with Java and Spring-based applications.
• Experience taking technical ownership and guiding developers.
• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with data governance or data management is a plus.
• Experience in banking environments is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the technical design and development of the backend application.
• Define secure, scalable, and maintainable architecture choices.
• Provide guidance and support to the development team.
• Ensure use of Java 21, Spring Framework and APIs.
• Promote CI/CD, microservices, unit testing and versioning.
• Support API data exposure and data governance efforts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
