Consort Group is seeking a Senior Java Spring / SQL Developer to evolve a critical financial referential data management application. You will design, implement, and optimize robust back-end systems, ensuring data quality, performance, and security across internal and external sources.

Location is Porto with a hybrid work arrangement. The role emphasizes CI/CD, microservices, and collaborative engineering across DevOps and business stakeholders.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in demanding software development environments.
• Back-end systems design for reliability, performance and scalability.
• Experience with Java Spring and SQL in financial data contexts.
• Ability to design secure APIs and microservices.
• CI/CD, Docker, and cloud experience (AWS/IBM).
• REST APIs and software architecture knowledge.
• Collaborative team player with strong communication.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and secure scalable back-end architectures.
• Implement robust APIs for data exposure and integration with external providers.
• Industrialize solutions following CI/CD best practices.
• Develop and maintain microservices-based architectures.
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of applications.
• Participate in unit testing strategy and code quality improvement.
• Collaborate with teams on system design and technical decisions.
• Validate phases with end-users and stakeholders.
• Support application deployment and production stability.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Ensure continuous improvement of existing systems.
• Contribute to incident resolution and root cause analysis.
• Work in close collaboration with DevOps and support teams.
• Maintain documentation and ensure knowledge sharing.
