PrimeIT is seeking a Senior Java Spring Developer to join an international technology team in Lisbon, Portugal. The role focuses on back-end development, scalable architectures, APIs, CI/CD and data management, with the opportunity to work in a modern Agile environment.

You will contribute to the design and development of secure, scalable and high-quality solutions while working closely with technical and business stakeholders. English required.

Qualificações

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 21 and Spring Framework.
• Advanced SQL / PostgreSQL skills and data exposure knowledge.
• 3–5 years of IT experience and experience with cloud environments.

We are looking for a Senior Java Spring Developer to join an international technology team in Lisbon, Portugal.

The role focuses on back-end development, scalable architectures, APIs, CI/CD and data management, with the opportunity to work in a modern Agile environment.

You will contribute to the design and development of secure, scalable and high-quality solutions while working closely with technical and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, secure and scale back-end architectures.
• Develop applications using Java 21 and Spring.
• Implement and maintain APIs and data exposure solutions.
• Apply software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, microservices, unit testing and version control.
• Contribute to the industrialization and continuous improvement of technical solutions.
• Participate in validation and testing phases with end users.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand and implement requirements.
• Contribute to technical and functional analysis when required.
• Work in an Agile environment and participate in related ceremonies and activities.

Technical Requirements

• Mandatory: strong hands-on experience with Java 21.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework.
• Advanced SQL / PostgreSQL skills.
• Strong understanding of:
• Microservices
• CI/CD
• Unit testing
• Version control
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, IBM Cloud or similar.
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5 years of IT experience.
• Experience in data governance, data management or third-party data is a plus.
• Ability to work across both technical and business topics is a plus.
