Act Digital in Lisbon is seeking an experienced Java Developer to design and build RESTful services, focusing on scalable microservices and data-driven applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement CI/CD pipelines, and work with Docker, Kubernetes, Tomcat, Jenkins, GitLab, and Oracle 19c / PostgreSQL databases in an Agile environment.

French language skills are mandatory for the role, while English is used for international collaboration.

Qualificações

• Must be fluent in French (mandatory).
• Strong Java and Spring Boot development experience.
• REST API design and integration experience.
• Knowledge of GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, and IntelliJ IDEA.
• Hands-on Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Experience with Oracle 19c and/or PostgreSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Good level of English for collaboration within international teams.

Responsabilidades

• Build and integrate REST APIs to support business-critical applications and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Manage application deployment and maintenance using Docker, Kubernetes, Tomcat, Jenkins, and GitLab.
• Ensure code quality through best development practices, code reviews, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with relational databases, including Oracle 19c and PostgreSQL, to design and optimize data models and queries.
• Participate in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support activities.
• Contribute to the integration of messaging and event-driven architectures using Kafka.
• Maintain technical documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.
