Wire IT is seeking a Senior Java Spring Boot developer for hybrid roles in Lisbon or Porto, Portugal. You will work on backend microservices with Spring Boot, design RESTful APIs, and ensure secure inter-service communication.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of Java experience, strong OOP and multithreading skills, and proficiency in SQL databases. English fluency is mandatory, and the role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Degree in Technology, Computer Engineering or similar (equivalent experience considered).
• 6+ years of professional Java development with backend microservices focus.
• Deep proficiency in Spring Boot (3.x) and Spring ecosystem.
• Strong Java experience (17/21) with OOP, design patterns and multithreading.
• Experience in RESTful API design and secure microservices (OAuth2, JWT).
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL) and data modeling.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience (Jenkins, XL Deploy/XL Release or similar).
• Fluent English is mandatory.
