MoOngy in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Java Developer + Spark to drive data processing applications in batch mode using Spark and Java/J2EE. You will develop solutions with Spring, Spark, and SQL, collaborating across teams in a hybrid model requiring 2/3 days in the office.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in Java, Spark experience, cloud-native skills, and familiarity with CI/CD tooling such as Maven, GitLab, ArgoCD, Liquibase. French B2 is a plus. This role is based in Lisbon, Portugal.

Qualificações

• 8+ years in Java/J2EE development, including newer Java versions.
• At least 1 year in Apache Spark development with hands-on Spark experience.
• Experience with Spring/Spring MVC and Spring Boot.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle ExaCC, SQL Server).
• Cloud-native applications experience.
• CI/CD tooling experience (Maven, GitLab, ArgoCD, Liquibase).

Responsabilidades

• Develop Data Processing applications in Batch mode using Spark.
• Develop solutions with Java/J2EE and Apache Spark.
• Design solutions using proven patterns with performance tuning awareness.
• Work with SQL, relational databases, Docker/Kubernetes, object storage such as S3, and CI/CD tooling.
