We’re looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our API First Team — a group of creative technologists designing, building, and automating the next generation of services across the CIB API Platform.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and enhance secure enterprise applications — from concept to production.
• Translate business needs into smart, scalable, technical solutions.
• Analyze complex systems end‑to‑end (infra and all!) and make them better.
• Lead by example — maintain top‑notch code quality, performance, and standards.
• Review designs, debug tough problems, and support releases into production.
• Drive innovation by suggesting new tools, frameworks, and ideas.
• Manage technical risks and make things run smoother every day.

Tech Stack You’ll Play With

• ☕ Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA
• 🧱 Microservices and API‑based architecture
• 🧩 Design Patterns, Clean Code, and Best Practices
• 🐧 Linux/Unix, with a bit of shell scripting love 💚

Nice-to-Haves

• 🔥 Performance tuning and profiling (Dynatrace, JProfiler, etc.)
• 🌍 API Gateway knowledge (Apigee is a plus!)
• 🔐 Security topics: OAuth2, SSO, OpenID Connect
• ☁️ Experience with Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, or Cassandra

Languages
