Shore is seeking a Java backend developer to design and build robust microservices in a cloud-native environment. You will craft high-performance REST APIs using Spring Boot and participate in modern delivery pipelines. The role emphasizes secure, scalable code with strong testing and collaboration across Agile teams.

The ideal candidate combines strong Java/Spring Boot experience with CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes and database knowledge to deliver reliable digital banking services.

Qualificações

• Strong recent Java experience with Spring Boot (3.x is relevant).
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiar with CI/CD and DevOps tooling (Jenkins or GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Maven and SonarQube experience.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB or Oracle.

• Architect and develop high-performance REST APIs and microservices using modern Java and Spring Boot.

• Ensure code quality through automated unit and integration testing, code reviews and mentoring.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and take ownership of technical delivery.
• Anticipate technical risks and drive performance optimisation and continuous improvement.

Requisitos mínimos

• Strong recent Java experience and practical knowledge of Spring Boot; Spring Boot 3.x is highly relevant.
• REST APIs, microservices architecture, API-first design, design patterns and secure coding.
• CI/CD and DevOps tooling, including Jenkins or GitLab CI, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Maven and SonarQube.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB or Oracle.
• High autonomy, proactive problem solving and strong team collaboration.
