You will develop backend services with Java/Spring Boot and frontend components with Angular/TypeScript, design RESTful APIs, and contribute to CI/CD and deployment activities, while upholding code quality and security standards.

We are looking for a Java / Angular Developer to join a collaborative and technology-driven team, contributing to the development of scalable, high-performance, and business-critical applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work on modern architectures, participate in technical decisions, and help deliver innovative digital solutions within an Agile environment.

Work model: Hybrid (2 days on site)

Location: Porto

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and enhance modern frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Participate in technical design and architecture discussions.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across different environments.
• Support CI/CD processes and contribute to deployment and release activities.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and developing microservices-based solutions.
• Solid experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful services and API integration.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with Docker/Git or similar
• Testing using tools such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and JWT authentication mechanisms.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of SonarQube, Nexus, or Artifactory.
