Job summary

act digital is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join their international team in Lisbon. You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java and modern frontend tech, building microservices and RESTful APIs with Spring Boot.

Strong SQL skills and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments are essential. The role emphasizes collaboration in an Agile setting, code quality, and continuous delivery across development, testing, and production

Qualifications

University degree in Computer Science or related field.
6+ years of professional Java development experience.
Strong proficiency with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
Experience designing and developing microservice-based architectures.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance web applications using Java and frontend technologies.
Build and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
Develop and optimize SQL procedures and queries for data access and transactions.
Integrate applications with enterprise systems using established standards.
Write unit and integration tests and conduct code reviews.
Refactor code to improve performance and maintainability.
Ensure security, coding standards, and software architecture principles.
Collaborate in an Agile environment across development, testing, and production.
Support delivery across development to production environments.
Contribute to cloud-native software development and CD practices.
