AdvanceWorks in Lisbon is seeking a Mid/Senior Java Backend Developer to join an international banking project. You will design, develop, and maintain backend services in Java, using Spring / Spring Boot within a microservices architecture, delivering robust RESTful APIs and scalable data models.

You will own services from development to production, write tests, contribute to CI/CD, monitor performance, and collaborate with Frontend, Core Banking, and Analysis teams.

Qualificações

• At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Java 8+ proficiency and Spring Boot expertise.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on with relational and non-relational databases.
• Proficient in Docker, Git, CI/CD and test automation.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement backend services in Java with Spring Boot in a microservices architecture.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations.
• Model and optimize data with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and SQL Server.
• Create and optimize database queries and indexes.
• Build Dockerfiles and containerize backend services.
• Follow Git-based versioning and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement unit and integration tests across the lifecycle.
• Monitor, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure service reliability.
• Collaborate with frontend, core banking, and analysis teams.
