Olisipo is seeking a senior Infrastructure and Private Cloud engineer in Portugal to design, implement, and maintain Private Cloud architectures, covering virtualization, storage, and OS administration.

You will lead modernization initiatives, manage VMware vSphere and Hyper-V environments, oversee SAN/storage, and ensure backup/recovery with Veeam, while mentoring junior staff and maintaining high availability.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure and Private Cloud engineering.
• Strong expertise in virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V).
• Solid background in Operating Systems administration (Windows Server and Linux: RHEL, Ubuntu).
• Hands-on experience with Storage solutions (SAN technologies, datastores, file systems) and WebSphere environments.
• Proven experience in Data Protection and Disaster Recovery using Veeam Backup e Replication.
• Demonstrated capability in designing Private Cloud architectures, handling lifecycle management, obsolescence, and modernization.
• Professional fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead lifecycle, obsolescence, and modernization initiatives to reduce infrastructure risks.
• Manage and optimize virtualization environments across VMware vSphere and Hyper-V platforms.

• Perform infrastructure troubleshooting, capacity management, performance analysis, and OS administration (Windows Server e Linux).
• Strengthen operational reliability and maintain system stability across Private Cloud services.
