Match Profiler, an Information Systems consultancy with 25+ years in the technology market, is strengthening its team with a Senior Cloud & Integration Operations Engineer (Flexible Hybrid, Lisbon).

You will operate and optimize AWS and on-prem infrastructure, automate with IaC, and ensure secure, reliable mission-critical systems. Strong Linux, Ansible, Python, and middleware experience are essential, along with excellent communication in English.

Qualificações

• Experience operating and administering AWS and on-premises infrastructure.
• Strong practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation.
• Advanced Linux administration skills.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Python, and AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with middleware and integration platforms (Apache Camel, JBoss, Quarkus, Apache Web Server).
• Knowledge of enterprise integration technologies (web services, SFTP, OpenFT).
• Understanding of secure authentication and certificate-based security (OIDC, TLS/SSL).
• Experience in monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Ability to manage complex operational environments end-to-end.
• Experience ensuring stability, security, availability, and service quality of mission-critical systems.
• Proficiency with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and Jira.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Experience with high-availability and business-continuity practices.
• Experience implementing monitoring improvements, operational automation, and preventive controls.
• Knowledge of AWS security, access control, networking, and optimization.
• Experience supporting deployment and release across environments.
• Excellent technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
• Relevant AWS, Linux, Ansible, or middleware certifications.
• Very good English skills.

What we are looking for

• Experience operating and administering AWS and on-premises infrastructure.
• Strong practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation
• Advanced Linux administration skills
• Strong hands‑on experience with Ansible, Python, and AWS CloudFormation
• Experience operating middleware and integration platforms, particularly Apache Camel, JBoss, Quarkus, and Apache Web Server
• Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise integration technologies, including web services, SFTP, and OpenFT
• Strong understanding of secure authentication and certificate‑based security mechanisms, including OIDC and TLS/SSL
• Proven experience in system monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, and structured root cause analysis
• Ability to independently manage complex operational environments and take end‑to‑end ownership of technical solutions
• Experience ensuring the stability, security, availability, and service quality of mission‑critical systems and integration platforms
• Proficiency in agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and the use of Jira
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with high‑availability and business‑continuity practices for enterprise platforms
• Experience implementing monitoring improvements, operational automation, and preventive controls
• Knowledge of AWS security, access control, networking, and infrastructure optimization practices
• Experience supporting deployment and release activities across multiple environments
• Excellent technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills
