Job summary

Amgen Capability Center Portugal, based in Lisbon, seeks a Senior Indirect Procurement Specialist to source various indirect category projects across the ELMAC region and align with the Affiliate's sourcing strategy. You will implement contracting needs, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure policy compliance.

The ideal candidate brings a degree and several years in procurement, strong communication and negotiation skills, and English fluency.

Qualifications

Degree and 4 years sourcing/procurement experience.
Understanding of tendering, supplier negotiations and contracting across indirect spend categories.
Proficient in English, written and oral.
Proficient with MS Office Suite, including Excel.
Experience using e-procurement tools such as Scout & Ariba is a plus.
Ability to understand business goals and work with minimal direction.
Additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

Source indirect category projects across ELMAC region per policy.
Collaborate with Country Sourcing Manager and business leads on strategy and contracting needs.
Identify value opportunities through negotiation or bidding scenarios.
Own sourcing and negotiations to meet business partner requirements.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and contracts.
