Job summary

Pleo, a fast-growing fintech, is hiring a Senior Accountant / Financial Reporting specialist to strengthen accounting execution, audit management, and monthly consolidated results analysis in our high-growth environment.

You will leverage AI and automation to redefine modern accounting with IFRS excellence, and report to the Accounting Associate Director while partnering with cross-functional finance teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years IFRS experience in real-world scenarios.
• Experience with audits end-to-end or primary finance contact for auditors.
• Experience integrating AI/automation in accounting processes.
• Ability to operate in fast-changing environments with ownership and judgement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and reconciliations.
• Own audit schedules and coordinate responses to audit questions.
• Analyze monthly results and provide decision-ready insights for finance leadership.
• Identify risks and strengthen internal controls.
• Leverage AI tools to standardize recurring accounting work.
